What countries will be able to see the Perseid meteor shower tonight?

Please someone tell me I want to call my boyfriend his in bolivia and i was wondering if it could be seen tonight in bolivia so that i could wake him up.

but re-reading your question, . . .since your boyfriend is in Bolivia, in the Southern hemisphere, he would not be able to view it

Anyone in the northern hemisphere should be able to see it.  As long as he can see the constellation Perseus, he's good.

According to the site below (page dated 15 August) the Perseids are down to 20 per hour and will be difficult to see owing to the near full moon.
