United States. Any citizen of a country should root for their country.

Other than that, I like Great Britain and Sweden for heritage reasons.

Also, underdogs that are not likely to win many medals.

China - for what they have acheived, and for Yao Ming

Afganistan - they have to go through a much harder road just to be there

USA - i m a Basketball fan and it will be stupid to miss any games the Dreamteam play...

Jamica - I just love watching them win.. love their smile

Being Australian, I love my country the most and love to see them do well. National pride is a fantastic feeling and I am glad the many countries have been given that feeling through their first medals and first golds this year. Its extremely heartening.

I always barrack the underdog in competition where I cant barrack an Aussie - and sometimes even when I can.

Most of all I love to support those who try - and keep trying - even when they know they have no chance. Eric the Eel is a heartwarming story and his spirit is huge.

Naturally, despite not having anything against them personally - I always love it when an Aussie beats one of the "Big Three" - and even more so when someone considers us one of the Big Three.

National Pride - anyones national pride - is a virtue, and we should all be thrilled to be a part of it!
