  1. I reckon you should go for Turkish! Yummy

  2. My personal preference is italian, greek and mexican food.  Greek being the most healthy probably, Italian being my favorite and being around mexican food seems to be where I spend most of my social outings. (mexican restraunts with bottomless chips and salsa.. yum) :)

If I were doing your project I would go with Italy... that would be my country of choice to research (I dream of going there one day) and their food is fun to make (at italian restraunts I usually order any dish involving eggplant) :)

    Good Luck!

  3. italy or try any south american country

  4. TO me the best food to represent south east Asia. THAI FOOD, TOM YAM, PHAT THAI and it's many salad and curries.

from Europe: Southern Italian food.... pizza, pasta..

    from middle east: Turkey

    from south America: Mexico food

from the FAR east : Chinese food

  5. Totally Mexico

Did u know they have a different typical meal in every one of the 32 states?

My suggestions for a meal would be "Mole" more specifically a kind called "Mole poblano" basically it is chocolate chili, I know it sounds weird but it has an amazing flavor, the match of the chocolate and spicy flavor is awesome!

A second option, would be "Barbacoa", but don't confuse it with Barbecue,  different from everybody's belief, they are completely different things.

And a dessert would be "Pastel de Tres Leches" (Three milks cake). There are many different flavors you can use, and it will be the most moist cake you'll find in the world.

  6. Since you have to actually cook a meal, pick a dish that has ingredients that aren't too hard to get... and isn't too complicated to make... I would guess Italian, Mexican, Spanish, maybe even Greek.  Then research that particular country.

  7. italy dude

  8. The cuisine of India is characterized by its sophisticated and subtle use of many spices and herbs. Considered by some to be one of the world's most diverse cuisines, each family of this cuisine is characterized by a wide assortment of dishes and cooking techniques.

Diversity is a defining feature of India's geography, culture, and food. Indian cuisine varies from region to region, reflecting the varied demographics of the ethnically diverse subcontinent. Generally, Indian cuisine can be split into four categories: North Indian, South Indian, East Indian, and West Indian. Despite this diversity, some unifying threads emerge in the art of Indian cuisine. Varied uses of spices are an integral part of food preparation, and are used to enhance the flavor of a dish and create unique flavors and aromas.

Food is an important part of Indian culture, playing a role in everyday life as well as in festivals. In many families, everyday meals are usually sit-down affairs consisting of two to three main course dishes, varied accompaniments such as chutneys and pickles, carbohydrate staples such as rice and roti (bread), as well as desserts.

  14. This is difficult question because just about all countries have their specialty dishes. For example France, Italy, Spain, and many other countries. My suggestion is that if you would like to prep area unique project, select a country without too much publicity about their cooking. Example, Chile, Spain, Austria, etc.

  15. It's an impossible question to answer. Ever heard of the saying - one person's meat is another person's poison. It all depends on individual tastes.Look up Larousse Gastronomique - ( the Chef's "Bible").It will give you a brief introduction to all the popular and known cuisines of the world and you can proceed your research from there. Good luck.

  16. I think Greek food is very healthy:  olives, fresh vegetables & fruit, red wine, grilled meats.... it's part of the heart healthy Mediterranean diet.
