Brasilia, Brazil, Brasilia is the most modern capital in the western hemisphere, Brazil has one 5 Worlds Cups in soccer, it's the only country in South America that doesn't speak Spanish as a national language, and it has the Amazon Jungle and the Amazon River. It also touches all but Chile and Ecuador in South America, and has lot's of history mixed in with modern and so on.

Aside from the fact that Amsterdam is not the capital of the Netherlands (Den Haag is) - it is definitely a cool city.

My favourite is Sofia though (capital of Bulgaria). It has heaps and heaps of interesting history, still very alive through it's buildings and structures. The people are a very kind folk and nightlife is soaring.
