Saxony was a country, I think today it's part of Germany but not so sure. As for Prussia, I have no idea if the country exists today.

  1. Prussia is also parts of Poland

  2. Saxony is an area in Germany around the upper Elbe river; the original home of the Saxons.

    Prussia -

    Former state in north-central Germany.

At the height of its power, Prussia occupied more than half of present-day Germany, stretching from The Netherlands and Belgium in the west to Lithuania in the east.

  3. Saxony and Prussia were both part of Germany. Saxony is an area in present-day Germany. The Kingdom of Prussia was a large and very powerful one in the 18th and 19th centuries, and was a dominant force in the German Empire after unification in 1871. After the Great War, it was a free state in the Weimar Republic. After World War II, Prussia no longer existed. (One of my grandfathers migrated in 1890 from Danzig in Prussia. Danzig is present-day Gdansk, Poland.)
