It's a shame all young Americans don't get a passport and go and see the world. All the countries that people answered are great countries and have more freedoms and better and higher standards of living. I am an American who's traveled across the US and been to over 43 countries in the world.

Believe me the US truly isn't all what it's cracked up to be and I now live in a country that has more freedoms, a good economy, and a high standard of living, with many educational and business opportunity's to obtain what we call the American dream. With equal right for all citizens and no government religious or anti discrimination opinions or have tapped phones etc and you can freely smoke a joint and get paid good decent pay and wages and a good honest government people aren't in fear of them or police and can freely protest. This is what the USA dosen't have anymore. Countries like Australia, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland and even South Africa does. If you believe the USA is this that or the other you need to get your head out of the sand and a good KFC Hot and Spicy slap to snap out of it.

All of US young Americans, need go out and learn about the world and to bring this knowlege back to into our country and improve it and stop being pleased with the band aid solution. Were the ones who are going to be paying off all the debts left by our past generation and we will to be the responcable ones who have to figure out how to do this and take also our country and nation into the future.

In terms of what?

America leads the nations of Earth in virtually NO categories, except for gross national product.  It lags behind virtually every first world nation in education, social programs, and health care.  It tops the list in violent crime rates, convicted crimminals, religious nuts, and arrogance.

It's a nation rich in resources and poor in common sense.  I can't understand why anyone would say that America is 'great'.  I've lived here my whole life, and all I see is a nation of egocentric, war-mongering idiots.

You are talking about the States right?

Canada, Australia, South Korea, Iceland, Japan, New Zealand, U.K, Spain, Ireland, Greece, France, Italy, Germany, Norway, Portugal, Costa Rica, and a few others. Those countries have  much higher standards of living than U.S-Americans.

LMAO. When did North America become a country?  It's a continent and there are 4 major countries in the mainland (Greenland, Canada, U.S.A, and Mexico). The Carribean islands are part of  North America too.
