What country is known for it's capitalist ways?

What country is known for it's capitalist ways? and what are the advantages of being that way?

The US is probably the most capitalist country in the world.

The advantages are that competition creates efficiency and a wide range of choice - if someone can do it cheaper or better then they almost certainly will. It also means that people are constantly on the lookout for ways to make things cheaper and better; meaning innovation happens very fast.

The disadvantages are that corporations and businesses are to a large extent unanswerable to the public; especially if they create a monopoly. In addition those without sufficient money quite often go without basic services, meaning a wider gap between rich and poor.

The U.S. of A., durr..  The main advantage is that we promote upward social mobility.  Everyones hungry for that money and we encourage that sort of spirit.  Thing is it makes it a sort of cut throat world for us.
