Panama  "IS" a country in central america.  Its what connects central america to South america. It is bordered by Columbia, and Costa Rica. Cool place. both my parents were born and raised in panama. Its got its fair share of Beaches, and site , such as the panama canal and the islands with the natives (indians).  There used to be a US military base called Balboa (which is the name of the currency, although they use US dollars as well).
