What country is part of the West Indies and the Caribbean and is NOT an Island?

I'll throw in hints if no one gets the answer correct. Whoever answers correct the first time, I'll pick as best answer : ) just to be fair, even if it sounds like a good answer.

you could play around with the semantics here, and get a couple different answers.

But I would say Haiti and Dominican Republic, as they do not occupy their own islands, but share the island of Hispaniola.

Also, St. Martin is a shared island, with France and the Netherlands splitting the island.

I think that Venezuela is correct.  It is considered part of the caribbean and certainly is part of South America.
