I'm sorry, I cannot answer that question.  In fact, no one can.

I'll tell you why, and perhaps answer a more important question for you.  That question is "what does best mean?"

"Best" is the superlative form of the word "good" (ie., good, better, best).   It implies that you can determine the "goodness" of something.

So, what determines a "good" economy?  

- One with a high GNP?  

- One with a high per capita GNP?

- One with a high growth in GNP?

- One with a good distribution of wealth among the citizens?

- One with minimal impact on the environment?

So look at that list above.  Does China really have a better economy than Italy?  How do those figures break down per capita?  In fact, if you look at this list...

China ranks 130th in the world and India ranks 164th.
