  1. 1. According to the Global Peace Index, Norway is the most peaceful country in the world. This nation has an immeasurable illiteracy rate as everyone of or above school age can read and unemployment rate of 3.5%; both factors contribute to the country's high level of safety. Another indicator of safety? The increase of cruise ships with ports of call in Norway and increased general tourism to the nation. Everything functions like clockwork.

  2. I would gp with several of the 3rd world countries. This is because they are many times not as advanced as more devolped countries when it comes to organized crime and weapons. YOur average hoodlum is around any corner but as far as terrorist threats and such go, thats something you just wouldnt worry about.

  3. The one that does not have any oil and/or opium. That lowers the chance that some other country would be be itchy to 'bring a democracy to that country'.

  4. in the recent mercer global study of personal saftey Geneva and Zurich in Switzerland ranked number 1 and number 3. Vienna Austria was number 2, Vancouver canada number 4 and Auckland New Zealand number 5

so i would say Switzerland is definetly the safest country, i live in NZ so it gets my vote as being right up there in terms of safety
