  1. I would say the U.S. but in a few years Puerto Rico may be a close second.

  2. Cuban boxers are crazy!!

  3. U.S and Cuba

  4. I'd say Mexico. The glamour divisions like Heavyweight and Middleweight are Americans, but the lower weight classes like straw weights, featherweights, bantamweights, light weight and welterweights have been dominated by Mexicans for years. I wouldn't say they have the most famous fighters, but no country pumps more talent in boxing than Mexico

  5. Easy!  The USA!  Any other answer is because they are a homer for their heritage.  The USA has a huge advantage because we are a huge country.

Take a look at this.  www.boxrec.com is a respected website for boxing and they have the greatest fighters of all time according to weight.  In any weight class, you will see the USA in there and second place is a very distant second.

  6. I would say the U.S and Mexico

  7. The U.S has produced the most champions in boxing (if you start from john L sullivan) mexico and puerto rico has produced some great talents as well, in the straw weight division japan and other asian countries  talent produce almost 75 % of the boxers in that weight class, it comes down to weight class, most heavyweights come from either the U.S of eastern europe, while a lot of welter weights and light weights are hispanic, and the smaller weight class are filled with asians.

  8. the united states by far has produced the greatest fighters by far in numbers.

  9. The Phillipines and Australia

  10. The US and the UK currently have the most champions, but US and Cuba seem to be the best "pound for pound" countries.  A larger proportion of boxers from these countries go on to become great champions in virtually all weight classes. Dont confuse quantity with quality. In Mexico and Puerto Rico, boxing is almost like a national sport, so they produce tons of boxers that infest the lower weight classes, but, when you look at the champions, there are more from the UK and US. Many champions are asian, european, and even a couple of champions from Africa. Go to boxnews, i put a link down there. They haven't updated the champions in a few weeks though, at least since Margarito won a belt.
