As the world's largest producer and exporter, the United States is riding the wave. Noteworthy among these are the $5 billion deal for F-16s to Pakistan and a $5.8 billion agreement to completely re-equip Saudi Arabia's internal security force.

It hard to say because, there are several "clones" produced in many countries, such as Pakistan.  They sell military hardware in bazaars.

The US of A most likely produces the most handguns, we manufacture several 1911s, revolvers, etc., while other countries only make a couple of brands or styles of handguns.

China and Russia are the top manufacturers of rifles, mostly because of the AK-47.  They produced millions of these rifles and gave them away to any country who embraced Communism.

Other countries of significance in the arms world are Germany; which makes the famous Heckler & Koch brand of weapons, Italy; which produces many fine shotguns, handguns, including well-made replica Old West guns, Czechoslovakia; which makes several very high-quality hunting rifles and handguns.
