Here are some points to take into consideration,

- I would like a white skinned child (I'm not racist, i have nothing against black or asian people, i just think the child would fit in and not feel "different" than all the other family members)

-Country that hasn't got a massive waiting list

- Minimum age of 18 if you know of any,

Thanks xxxx

  1. Then wait. Our children need to be taken care of here. This new fad about adopting out of country is bizzarre to me, trust me the wait will be worth it, your waiting for a child. Good Luck.

  2. How about the USA where there are thousands of foster children waiting to be adopted.

  3. You should adopt from the country you live in. It may cost more but, by adopting from your own country you have a say in what kind of individual will be out there in society.  Unfortunately, children in our own country never get adopted.  When they are 18 and released into society to fend for themselves they sometimes don't always get "catch a break".  There are a lot of wonderful, kind, smart and loving children in our country that want a family to call there own.

Talk to whoever you can within your community, co-workers, clergy, etc.. and sometimes if you talk to the right people you can get an adoption quicker.  Good Luck!

  4. I do agree on the fact that you should adopt here. There are so many children right here that need help. You have to wait a while no matter where you adopt from.
