What country won the olympics in 2008?

i know this is a dumb question but i honestly dont know. i did watch them. and i do know china had the most gold medals. and america has the most overall but what country won?

i think both countries won in different aspect,cannot compare with medals , phelps won 8 golds it's a miracle,china first host the olympic game and won the most gold medals,  

the highlight should be Jamaica, deep impress.
