What counts as extracurricular activities???

I know the things you do in school counts and volunteering but what if

lets say you sign up for a yoga class or you take art class does that count?

Extracurricular activities are anything that benefits someone else and you receive no pay or grade for.

Yoga classes and art classes do count as extracurricular activities.

Extracurricular are just activities that are in addition to your compulsory curriculum. For example if you join a sports club, like football or basketball or tennis that would count. Try joining a club that you would enjoy, so if you're more a drama person join local productions or theater clubs. Also volunteering would look good on your college application. So maybe helping out in a charity organization would be a good idea. You could try summer work in 'Oxfam' or other places, Hope that helps! :)
