What courier does play.com use in england?

I'm fairly sure it's just royal mail.

I have used them before, and I think it just comes with the normal post. Amazon and CDWow are definitely royal mail.

If it's too big to go through your postbox, and you don't have a porch for them to leave it in, then the postman will leave you a collection card and you'll have to go down to the depot

yep, I'd agree, it's the Royal Mail.  If you're not in, they'll leave a note and you can pick it up from the nearest sorting office.  Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
