I know I should take a lot of science classes so I already took Biology and environmental science. I'm also planning on taking Earth/Space science, physical science, and physics. I also know meteorologists use computers a lot. What computer class should I take at my high school? Sources?

  1. Not knowing what your high school offers for classes you should talk to your guidance councilor.

  2. Meteorology degrees are quite heavy in mathematics, so take all those you can.  Geography is also helpful.  Computer classes are also helpful, especially if you plan to go into the research side of meteorology, but the rate that computer technology changes, what you learn now may become outdated fairly fast. I took programming in Fortran, using punch cards ;).

    Good luck!!
