Does anyone know what special needs arrangements this airport or most others offer for the blind and the people picking them up? Do I contact the airport or the airline specifically for info as to where to meet my guest?

  1. You will need to go to the ticket counter of the airline the passenger is traveling on and request a gate pass. They don't issue passes to anyone who requests it, but you have a good reason. They should also be able to give you the gate information (if it's not posted for inbound flights on the monitors) and when the plane should be landing. The only time you may not be able to get a pass is if the security checkpoint is closed and it's late at night, then no one is getting through. You can see if maybe they can have a skycap assist them out until you are able to meet up with them.
