  1. Unequal heating of the surfaces by the solar radiation causes temperature gradient leading to pressure gradient.This pressure gradient creats wind flow from the high pressure area towards the low pressure area.

    Wind flow is influenced by this pressure gradient force,coriolis force,centrifugal force if the isobars are curved and to some extent frictional force near the surface.

    Gravity also affects the wind flow as it pulls down cold(which is heavier) air which spreads over the surface affecting the horizontal flow of the air.
