  1. Nene,

With due respect to the proponents of creationism - which I am not here to contrast, and is a matter of personal interpretation and faith, I will give what little is known.

First, a Koala is a Marsupial mammal, while a Platypus is a more primitive lifeform that has been traditionally treated taxonomically as a primitive mammal for the characteristic of nursing its' young once out of the egg - no formal teats however, the milk is secreted to the skin from specialized sebaceous glands.

The present knowledge as to the possible relationships of these animals is admittedly scarse.  However, at present it is thought that Monotremata (aka Prototheria, i.e., the Platypus, and the various Echidna) diverged from the basal evolutionary mammalian tree approximately 165-185 million years ago, whereas the evolutionary diversion that produced the division of the Marsupials (aka Metatheria) and the placental mammals (Eutheria) started somewhere in the Lower Cretaceous (ca. 125-135 million years ago).

  2. What makes you think that they evolved? Why couldn't they have been created fully formed? The platypus is a huge problem for evolutionists because as far as the fossil record goes the platypus has always been a platypus. No signs of evolution. It was created
