What credit agency does american express use?

I would like to apply for amex card , But everybody knows that credit agencies reports differently. So does anybody know which one they use to check your credit? equifax , transunion, experian? or all three?

They looked at my Experian credit report for both my Platinum Card and Blue.  I check my credit reports monthly so I saw both inquiries.

I just applied for American Express Blue for Business card on July 14, 2008 and a credit inquiry showed up on my Experian report only.  I also have an Amex Gold card which I applied for in Nov 2007, and my Experian report was the only reviewed. Some creditors will pull at random a report from one of the three bureaus, such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo. This may be the case for American Express.
