  1. Imran Khan

  2. I try to bat like Shivnerine Chanderpaul. Same stance as him. I feel that its alot harder to hit balls straight but my legside shot have gotten more powerful an play alot of leg glances fine scoring alot of fours there. Also i feel i get more power on cut shots cause i can fully extend my arms.

  3. I modeled by bowling run up and action on John Snow it has served me well over the years but alas I was never as good

  4. The great Imran Khan!

Who always preached to believe in your self and that self belief will take you places...Yes it has worked!

  5. GR Vishwanath was my idol when I was growing up and his

century on debut has made me to follow him closlely. Every

opportunity I got to watch him play, I used to go to the stadium

and watch him. I have tried to imitate him and was successful

in playing his late cuts and drives. Yes it did work for me, but

    after a long time.

  6. I   like  to  hit  the flickish shot to fine leg boundary, that Rahul Dravid hits It's a very graceful and a safe one

Also  Ricky Ponting's typical  hook  and pull shot.

  7. i dont play anymore...too lazy. but i used to try imitating ab de villiers. i love watching him bat. the results werent too good...sigh ill stick to watching the game

  8. My bowling action is modeled on Steve Harmison, an unlikely hero, given that I have neither his height (I'm 5' 8.5") nor pace.

But I believe that it has delivered results for me whenever I played in school, as I improved my pace and accuracy (yes, it is possible to bowl accurately with Harmison's action). I used to have a closed-chested, side-on action, especially at the delivery stride, a little like Scott Styris, but got hit around the park. I decided to adopt an open-chested, high-arm, expansive action like his and improve the rhythm of my run-up. When my run-up is in rhythym, the current arrangement works extremely well.

Unlike Harmison, however, I do not have a big leap to get to the delivery stride. I have found that the little extra bounce I can get from a jump has a neglible attacking effect at my pace, and the jumping around can be very energy-sapping on a hot day, preventing me from bowling long spells.

  9. bond and yes it did work!!!

  10. ~~ Yuvaraj Y.Singh ~~

  11. the best thing is to be positive and be aggresive.... and attempt every ball as a 1st ball of your innings.. sehwag and afridi i like

  12. INITIALLY I USED TO BOWL LEG-SPIN MORE OFTEN. AT THAT TIME I USED TO FOLLOW THE LEGENDARY SHANE WARNE, BUT FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS I HAVE BEEN BOWLING OFF-SPIN AND IS FOLLOWING THE GREAT MUTTIAH MURALITHARAN..................... MY BOWLING ACTION ISN'T LIKE HIM THOUGH, BUT THE TECHNIQUES ARE.

  13. michael clarke's footwork is amazing.

and the style he and damien martyn play/played is really good.

always try to play like them - technique's are amazing.

  14. I'm a medim pace bowler who is not express. Thus I have looked at Glenn McGrath and Nathan Bracken. From McGrath I have learnt that line and length and just hitting the right spot on the pitch will eventually frustrate the batsmen because in order to score they must do all the work and this can result in a wicket.

From Bracken I have learnt to think and to bowl suprise balls like cutters and slower balls as at a medium pace just bowling the same all the time can mean that the batsmen knows whats coming. If they don't know when this allows you to also get wickets

  15. sachin he is a great inspiration for me.

  16. Brendon Mccullum

    coming down the track
