if you read the book he steals a lot, and although he never really abuses his children he doesn't given them proper living conditions. Like the first answer said, have you read this book? its actually really good and you should try to read it.

did you read this book? i doubt that you did since you can't even think of crimes the dad committed. you have to read this book it's so good. I would recommend it to anyone.
