I believe telling/selling secrets is one crime punishable by death..Is this true?

What are some others?

  1. Yes it is if you consider that aiding the enemy which seems a no brainer.

    If I recall there are 14 different crimes punishable by death. as memory serves.

    Murder

    Rape

    Aiding the enemy

    Sedition

    Subordinate compelling surrender

    Espionage

    Improper use of a counter sign

    Cowardice in the face of the enemy

    There are a few like desertion that are only the death penalty in time of war, but I really don't remember the rest. ... oh yeah falling asleep on guard duty!

    go awol for 30 days on the 31st they could kill you if they were so inclined.
