I see college/universities saying a player scored a total amount of points - what besides kills, blocks & aces are counting in that point total?

  1. The points system used by the FIVB is based on the points you help your team score directly.  A kill, a block that terminates for a point for your team and an ace are the player points.  Add them up to get the total player score.   For example, 3 blocks, 2 aces and 8 kills gets you a score of 13.
