Question:

What crop is it? Looks like a clump of grass 2ft across and 4ft high?

driving between Salisbury and Bath ,noticed at least 2 fields with these dark green clumps growing.like grass but each blade maybe 2ins wide.It`s not tobacco or sweetcorn ,anyone know what it is,could it be sugar cane?

  2. What nation? If US then what state? If you are in England or Canada then there is no way it is sugarcane. I'm sorry but there is more than one city named "Salisbury" and more than one city named "Bath". Could it be soybeans? Perhaps they were growing sod grass?

  3. In NC? Possibly milo at this time of year.  Soybeans and cotton are mostly what  is planted right now in my area, but they are pretty obvious.

  5. It would have to be Alfalfa Because it Grows Just Like Grass and It Would Definitely Not Be Sugar Cane Because Sugar Cane Grows In Other Places Like Peru, Brazil, Colombia, Australia, Ecuador, Cuba and Hawaii.
