What cruise lines are the best to work for?

I'm an intermediate elementary teacher looking to change careers. I would love to work in the travel industry and the cruise lines looked like a perfect opportunity.

An American registry is best, as they must follow labor laws.  I agree, cruise ships are not the best employement opportunity around.  They are also suffering in the economic slowdown.
