  1. Which Century? 1900 or 2000.

  2. The U.S. was is fairly good economic condition around 1900, but a few social issues were major concerns.

Women still did not have the right to vote, and were struggling for it.

Unions had developed in order to combat unfair labor practices, but in many industries union activity was met with firings, open violence and illegal arrests.

African Americans, while freed during the civil war, remained disenfranchised and heavily segregated, particularly in the American South.

Trade unions and the rights of laborers were probably the most common issue in the class struggles of the time.

  3. depends on which century.

16-17= nothing much. just living the colonial life.

    17-18= slavery. women's rights. state's rights.

18-19= workers' union rights. women's rights. civil rights.

19-20= copyright laws on internet. g*y rights.

sorry i kind of only described 'rights' movements, not exactly cultural conflicts.
