What cultural events happen in NYC or DC?

I have a foreign language organization in my High School; and these are the two closest places that may possibly have cultural events. I live in PA so if you can think of anything else within 3 hours of northeast Pa please put that too. And i need websites or something for the event. It also would be better if it was on a friday saturday or sunday and it happens from April-June so we have enough time to fund-raise. Thank you!!!

But you've got to be more specific. There are tons of "cultural events" in both NYC and DC. What kind of cultural event are you talking about?

g*y parade in NYC!! ( i saw that once) ( might be in july though .. not sure)

Cherry Blossom festival in DC!! ( usually march-april)

is this related to the FLO trip?? :D ( we should go to the UN!! that was fun!!)
