  1. I think it's hard to decide whether a cultural stereotype is accurate or not. But in general, it can be divided into 2 groups:

    - Individualism ( mostly American, European): this group highly evaluate the role of individual. Each individual lives by his/herself and focus on the "I" identity. Power distance is small in this group.

    - Collectivism (mostly seen in Asian, South American): with the "we"identity, this group put the rights of a group before the individual one. They are afraid of losing face and often, there is a large power distance between people in society. Senior are respected regardless of their having the capability or not.

I think we should base on these facts, not the stereotypes that go around.

  2. Height: Asians being small in size.

Weight: Pacific Islanders tend to be overweight.

Foods: Oriental food greasier than other foods.

Diligence: Asians are very task oriented.

Tolerance: Americans less tolerant of other cultures.

    Speeding: Europeans are fast drivers.

Adventurous: White people are the most adventurous.

  3. Black people are great athletes and entertainers!
