What culture is facinating?

Not a popular one, but some with interesting facts that isn't very broad.

Their all fascinating, but if there's one to pick why not try looking into Indonesia. They have transvestites pageants. They have a different religious out look, with Sufism having a strong presence there. Very interesting group of islands, and that's not too mainstream.

I disagree that they are all good cultures. Some are bad and some are good, just like people. Since cultures are just groups of like-minded peoples. But they are all interesting.

The Buthanese culture, THE most marginal culture in the world!! Look for Buthan country, and you will understand what is so special about it!!

They have no industries, are extremely peaceful and don`t accept more than 1000 tourists a year, to protect their culture and environment.

I guess I would love to lived there!!

Also you can look at the Dogons culture in Mali, this is a VERY interesting culture... Look at their architectures... AMAZING! And they claim to come from another planet!!

Try the Trobriander Tribe of Papua New Guinea. They're a matriarchal society that judge social status by the size of the sweet potato hanging outside their front door.

Any culture is fascinating, big or small.  Even cities have their own unique culture like New Orleans or London.  Type in any country or city and interesting facts will pop up.

The People of Tanna Island, Vanuatu.  They are so traditional over most of the Island that it makes one think that they have stepped in a time machine.  You just don't expect to see people living so traditionally this day and age.  I have also been to Africa and have lived with the Dasenech, Samburu/Masai, Turkana... but even these remote African tribes can't compare to the people of Tanna, Vanuatu.
