  4. You don't need to exchange your US dollars, as the Bahamanian dollar is valued at US$ 1 and the two kinds of dollar are used interchangeably. You should avoid taking Bahamian dollars back with you, however, as they will not be welcome in the USA.

  5. They Bahamian dollar and the American dolar are interchangeable in the Bahamas.

    However if you wish to do any gambling.. you must use American dollars in the slot machines.

  6. US Dollar...Watch bartenders tho.....sometimes they will give part of your change back in Bahamian money so you will leave it to them for a tip, they know the Bahamian money isn't welcome in the USA
