i found this coin and that is what it says. it also has CC next to it and on the bottom XX. anybody?

  1. It sounds Roman, mid Imperial.

    edit: It probably says VIRTVS AV GG, "virtue of the Augusti [emperors]" not "RV CC". XX is a common marking, probably some kind of denomination, though there's no scholarly consensus on its exact meaning. It may be an antoninianus if it's silvery. The other side with the head is where the identifying information is.
