My granddaughter got too far ahead of me today when we were taking a walk, and I told her to "hold her horses!" --- She turned around and put her hand on her hip, and said "Me no have no horses!"

What cute things are other kids doing? Kids can be so funny!

  1. Unfortunately I'm at work, so I have to wait for the cute things!  But yesterday, my daughter (almost 4) left her 'maked' (naked) baby doll at the sitter's.  Her daughter was waiting to give it to mine this morning when we arrived, but then decided she wanted to hold on to it for awhile.  The sitter made her give it back to my daughter, so then my daughter handed it to me and told me to take it home (so no one else would be able to play with it - I knew what she was getting at even though she didn't come out and say it! - LOL).  It's funny when you say something to them like you did, cuz they are young enough to still take it literally!  My daughter thought it was hilarious the other day when I told her 'tough beans' about something.

  10. This past weekend the WHOLE family was out to eat. I was holding my 10 month old Charlie when my niece Mattie (who is 7) comes up to me and says "Aunt Holly, do you like life better before Charlie was born or since Charlie was born?" I told her well, I guess since, because I can't really remember what life was like without him. She says "yeah..cause now you get to hug him and love him and stuff."
