what cytoplasmic organelle is responsible for the reappearance of the nucleic membrane and the nucleoli during mitosis?

during metaphase, the nuclear membrane disappears. but when the cell is in the telophase stage (if i'm not mistaken), its nuclear membrane and nucleoli reappears; hence, the distinct cleavage furrow formed.

  1. Well, actually as you know, Telophase is the reverse of Prophase, so the chromosomes elongate and overlap one another to form Chromatin. Nucleoplasm collects in the area of chromatin. A Nuclear Envelope appears on its outside from either pieces of older nuclear envelope or endoplasmic reticulum.

So, if you want to name a specific organelle, I think it would be Endoplasmic Reticulum.

Btw, that's a very good question and shows that you think beyond what is taught to you.
