  1. killed fish, people and plants

  2. Most third world countries like parts of south Africa, and parts of other countries. They could prosper more in Human energy and life, if they had fresh water wells and Hydro-Magnetic Energy plants for a better Economic life...( Producing  better and Cheaper Energy Where there was none.

  3. um...maybe dirty drinking water, poisoned fish(that people eat) and global warming.......

  4. There has been no real long-term global damage resulting from water pollution.  You see, the earth is a great filter and water is the universal solvent.  Polluted water may impact a local area and impact a few local species or the local puplation of humans, but over the past 35 years since the first RCRA law was passed, environmental scientists have done a pretty good job of cleaning up the then existing pollutions and have come up with some clever ways to avoid future pollution events.

Remember, the substances that cause pollution all came originally from the earth; what makes them pollution is their high concentration in a local area (body of water) so all that needs to be done is to dilute them to bring the pollutants back to their background levels and the "pollution" goes away.

    It really is that simple!
