The U.S is still the strongest and richest nation on the world and if America dose "collapse" than the world will go under because of the $2,200 Trillion U.S dollar dominated assets that the worlds has. I hope the U.S dose not collapse because of its military might, I don't think it will just collapse with out taking any action to stop it.

if you mean economically colapse.. then the process has already started since few years ago , just look at the statistics of US international Debt ratio, Inflation, Unemployment Rate , Crimes , failed social security system, hunger and poverty ratio, you will get your answer

How would America collapse and why would you want it too.  God protects and blesses this country and believe it or not this country is not founded on America.  America is a mindset, it is a 300 million strong group of people who want freedom and who stick together, I am a Christian and a Patriot to my country, this country will not collapse as long as "I" am here.

I read this and thought of all kinds of sassy answers, but then it did occur to me. The world has seen nations collapse in recent history.

When Russia became the Soviet Union and when Cuba and China, Viet Nam and North Korea went communist, the real indicator of their collapse on so many levels was when they stopped allowing their people to leave the country.

(I crossed the border, on the ground between Eastern and Western Europe during the cold war, and most of us in the west have no idea how much eastern Europe was simply a gigantic prison.)

The country to watch for collapse right now is Venezuela, when they close the border to their own people leaving, that will be the indicator to me of their 'collapse.' It's basically an admission that the people are all there to serve the dictator and his pals in power.

So, if the border of the US is ever closed to departures, I would say we're in collapse, and I'll be there trying to escape with you.
