What day did i more likely conceived?

i went in for an ultrasound on aug. 13th. the tech said i am 6 weeks, which means i conceived 4 weeks prior to the 13th right? so my question is what day is it more likely i conceived? the 17th or the 21st? they were the only days i had s*x. the first day of my LMP was june 29-30ish

what do you think? please help im confused and this is important.

Your fertilizatiuon date was around  7/17, so you got pregnant from making love around the 17th and the several days before.

It could have been either day. How long is your normal cycle? If your last period started on the 29th of June and you had a "normal" 28 day cycle then you would have ovulated around the 13th.

LMP - 7/30

Conception - 8/13

Due date - 5/6/09

that would put you at 4 weeks one day

You get variations with different cycle length, late/early ovulation and multiple different factors.

But...just an FYI...my LMP was 7/18 and I'm due 4/26/06 and that puts me at 6 weeks tomorrow.

That means one of two things...if your ultrasound was accurate (and u/s are typically accurate in early stages for dating) maybe what you thought was you LMP was implantation spotting....

You are correct on the 4 weeks prior to the 13th because when you count from the first day of your LMP you wait approximately 2 weeks before you ovulate and that is when conception occurs. If you were 6 weeks on the 13th then that means it would have been 6 weeks since your LMP but you have to acocunt for those 2 weeks where technically nothing is going on. As for which day the 17th or the 21st most women ovulate around 14 days before their next period would come so take the number of days in your usual cycle and count back 14 days and which ever day is closest to that day is probably when you conceived.
