  1. hello it takes a week for their eyes  to open or more or they may have been sleeping!

  2. 3-5 days after birth

  3. Mine usually start crawling around right away. Very active little babies... one of them almost got crushed by the wheel but we didn't want to touch her for fear of Sugar (the mother) rejecting her. We ended up lifting Cookie up (the father) and setting him near the baby, and he carried her back to the nest. Ahh, good times.. I miss that day..

  4. about 3 days or so in my experience with breeding them

  5. It depends on what you mean by "crawl". My Dwarf Russian Winter White pups were able to move at 2 days, but hardly at all, and very slow. Just an inch or so (the mother constantly moved them back into the nest). They were not really mobile until day 6 or 7, and even then only to a limited extent.

As of this writing they are 12 days old, and are now truly mobile, able to walk all over the cage. Pics in the link below.

(If you need to move the pups, a good alternative to touching them is to use a spoon to move them...that way there is no risk of rejection because your sent wont be on the pups)
