The Queen was born at 2.40am on 21 April 1926 at 17 Bruton Street in Mayfair, London.

She was the first child of The Duke and Duchess of York, who later became King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.

Ah, a trick question--Elizabeth II was born on 21 April 1926, but the United Kingdom celebrates her Official Birthday  on the first, second, or third Saturday in June by the Trooping of the Colour, otherwise known as the Queen's Birthday Parade.  Her Majesty also announces the yearly list of Birthday Honours at that time.

However, the confusion doesn't end there:  Australians observe the Queen's Official Birthday the second Monday in June, and Canadians celebrate it on the Monday on or before the 24th of May.   In other words, the Queen's Birthday is a "movable holiday".
