Hello,

I am starting my freshman year college in one week and was wondering what "S" means. Is it Saturday or Sunday? Sorry if this is a stupid question. Just making sure as I do not want to s***w up on my freshman year. :)

  1. It would most likely mean Saturday since it is very unlikely that anything would be open on a Sunday.

And in case you ever come across it, "R" means Thursday.

But honestly I would double check or something but "S" would most likely mean Saturday.

  2. Saturday, but that sucks... I hate taking Monday and Friday classes, let alone Saturday classes.  They don't even offer those at the college I go to.  If you can, switch it.

  3. S stands for Saturday

  4. Hey t**d, It isn't a stupid question if it's something you want to know. It does mean Saturday and R means Thursday.  I had a Saturday class last Fall term. It was about short stories and it was a fun class.  We had to be there from 9:30 - 12 on just the one day. I hope you like yours, it's much easier to get up on a Saturday for a class if you like it!  Good luck!

  5. Saturday.

  6. Look at the explanation of the abbreviations on your schedule.  Failing that, assume Saturday, and if you're wrong, go back Sunday.  It's not a stupid question, some colleges and universities make unwarranted assumptions.

  7. I would imagine it stands for Saturday.  Many colleges offer Saturday courses and/or activities, plus scheduling that day for studying and such is quite helpful.

Good luck in your first year!
