What day of the week is your trash collected? Once or twice a week? Private or Public Company?

In my City it is picked up on Thursdays by the City Trucks & taken to a landfill.

We have 2 bins.

Green for yard material & brown for all other trash.

Once a week, Tuesday mornings on my side of the city.  We used to have to separate the yard material from household trash.  A new landfill company won the bid this last year and now we can mix all trash together.  Makes it a lot easier.

Monday morning pick-up - private company.   Yard debris pick-up is Wednesday.  We have optional once/week or twice/week, but I only need once/week.

Our trash is collected by my hubby and taken to the land field. We live in the country and do not have trash pick-up. When we lived in the city it was picked   up on Monday and Thursday. Yard debris was taken on Wed.      Poppy

Mon is pick up day and we have a red recycle bin and then we have to have a can with a lid for other things.  Yard clippings have to be tied in bundles or in black garbage bag.

Well I can't afford garbage service.  I live on skid row.  When I accumulate a pickup truck load.  I go to the land field.  It just cost three dollars.

Garbage is picked up every Friday and  recyclables once a month also on Friday.  It is a private Co.

Live in the country.  Trash is picked up once a week by a privately owned company.  Don't separate it, just bag it.

Every Thursday morning the black bin is emptied by a private company that has been contracted by the city.  Every other Thursday the blue bin, which is for recyclables is picked up by the same contracted company.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday picked up by the City. It use to be 2 times a week but rats, mice and roaches got people to complain to get it picked up more often. Actually, it has helped.

hi . for our little park we get the dumpster picked up once a week . they take it to the landfil . we try very hard to recycle ourselves , by taking cardboard , plastic etc to the recycle depot .

they say every little bit helps , right .

In my city (Toronto, Canada), the garbage is picked up by the City trucks on Monday evening, and again on Thursday evening.  In addition, a third night is allocated for the picking up of the objects in the big recycling bins from the apartment and condo buildings.

Every friday morning the bin men appear and take away our rubbish. Then a wee man comes after them and cleans our bins with a power washer.

Monday and Thursday for regular trash. Wednesdays alternate paper product and other recyclables. Big items need an appointment for removal. Brush & leaves can only be left for pick-up on specified weeks throughout the year.  What would we do without trash collection!
