What day should we have s*x when TTC?

My husband and I are TTC. I havd taken the OPK test to help determine my ovulation days. Wednesday was a light pink line and Thrsday and Friday were both bright pink positive line. Although I have a positive line I have no CM. Can I still get pregnant with no CM? We had s*x Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, I think that ovulation may happen tonight or tomorrw, should I continue having s*x? Any suggestions??

From everything that I have read, it is best to have s*x a day or so before ovulation.  Sperm can live inside your body for 3-5 days, whereas the egg only lives for 12-14 hours.  It is best to have the sperm there - ready and waiting! The cervical mucus is there to make the journey easier for the sperm to travel to their destination. I would say continue having s*x every other day until you KNOW that you have ovulated.  Consider investing in a Basal Body Thermometer to go with the OPK.  Charting your temperature will let you know when you have ovulated. Ovulation happens within 12-34 hours after the first positive test, so if the first positive was Thursday, ovulation should have happened no later than Saturday. It's recommended to make love once a day for at least 2-3 days after the first positive OPK.
