is the best day to go learn to surf? in sandiego PB area? when will the waves be smallest?

  3. I live in San Diego too. There are quite a bit of good surf spots up in La Jolla, but I hardly go up there because that's a 40 minute drive for me. Usually I go to IB because it's close and the waves are pretty good. I'd go to PB surf shop or Bob's Mission Surf and ask them how the waves are and what time of day is best. If you're okay with the drive, I'd say coronado has pretty small waves all year round, but i only go there a few times a year so maybe it's a coincidence. But because it's not a "surf spot" and attracts mainly tourists, there are very few people in waist deep or deeper water and even less people in the water trying to catch waves so you probably won't run into anyone.

  4. I live around there too!  I go to Mission beach, and Laholla beaches :)  Those waves are pretty small and good but Laholla beaches are the best
