The edict went public in the week beginning April 29. It was signed on 31 March.

Of course, the Jews must have taken a bit of time to leave. They were given until July 31.

Jews were required to be out of Spain by July 31, 1492.

FYI: Columbus sailed from Spain on August 3, 1492.
