What days do tax checks come in the mail?

I've been doing direct deposit for about five years bit the IRS is mailing my stimulus check.As I recall refund checks only come on 2 days of the week monday and another one does anybody know which days they come on.I really need that money and don't know if I should give up hope for this week or not.I already got a notice it IS coming,should have been here by the 5th according to them

when ever the PO delivers it, you could get it anytime.  I personally received mine on a Friday and my Son on a Monday, my daughter got hers on a Wed.  And others on Tues, Thurs and Sat.

So mail is delivered Monday thru Saturday, so your guess is a good as ours.

They only come on days ending with y except for Sunday.

Monday through Saturday, same as any other mail.  Once the IRS puts it in the mail it's up to the Postal Service to take it from there.  The IRS mails checks virtually every weekday throughout the year except on Federal holidays.  The heaviest day is Thursdays, however they can and do mail out checks every day.

Being the 4th was a holiday all the mail is a day or two later.  Friday is most likely.
