  1. Acording to FTV the carnival this year is from the 27th to 29th of January inclusive! It will be broadcast live and continuously for the period of the festival on that channel.


  2. Buenos Aires does not celebrate Carnavale.  Some towns in northern Argentina do (eg Gualeyguaychu) but it is more associated with Brazil and to a lesser extent the caribbean and uruguay
