What defines a bad attitude?

When someone says you have a bad attitude what does that mean to you? My boyfriend CONSTANTLY attacks me and claims that I have a bad attitude. I disagree. Everyone can have one occasionally but he uses that "bad attitude" defense for everything... even if I say i'm to tired to do something for him, etc.. I think he uses that excuse because he knows that it bothers me. And to manipulate the situation to get his way, so he is never wrong in an argument. But just out of curiosity what defines a bad attitude to you?

it means they don't agree with you. it's a control tactic.

It usually means they hate themselves.  Remember this: The cause of most mean action is fear and insecurity. So if you can figure out what the other person's fears are, then you're very close to really understanding them.

that guy's an a*****e! I'd just say perhaps it's a little ridiculous for you not to be able to make yourself something in the middle of the night it's not really my problem.

There is no real way of knowing if you have a bad attitude. I disagree with my brother and to him i'm a d**k and I don't give a f about anybody else.

Bad attitude in this case looks like his means of getting his own way, so who now has the bad attitude?

in my eyes there is no such thing as a "bad attitude" and no such thing as "good and bad"that are just ways that we in this world we live in grew up to belive.they are just actions.some actions that we think are bad the ones that are doing it sees it as the right thing to do and we all have our different sights on things.in someones eyes if we were going through a moment or we just wasnt in the mood and they dont understand they would say we are having a "bad attitude".but i guess i would stick with the world and say a bad attitude is someone taht seems upset and angry and blaming their emotions on others

Bad attitude is negative inclination to do a rightful thing. If your boy friend had asked you to do a rightful thing and if you say always I am tired to do something for you, then this is bad attitude. For example, he asks you to go to coffee shop for a cup of coffee, there is nothing to lose for you, but you say I am tired to do that. If your boy friend asks you to do something on you which is morally or legally not allowed or  prohibited, then you can say this way to aoid his demand. If he says for this also "Bad attitude", there is some thing wrong with him and avoid him permanently.
