What defines a true animal lover?

Question

I realize it's a terribly stupid question; but I'm curious. Hating all whips, muzzles, and chains? Letting your puppy curl up beside you in bed even though she's covered in fleas? Doing whatever you can to make sure the animals at your home are all well fed even when half of them aren't even yours?

someone who doesnt love people less but just loves animals more...

someone who would rather give money to the animal shelter than the kids in africa...

someone who gets pissed wen they see people cutting down forests for condos etc...because they are destroying all the animals homes

someone who takes all the little buggies that get in their home and DOESNT kill them but puts them outside

someone who wen they see a spider web outside that is in their walk way will just duck under it instead of knocking it down

someone who keeps the channel on ANIMAL PLANET 70% of the time

♥When they care for animals' well being, and would do anything for them. When people laugh at you for having shirts that say "Stop animal testing" or "Save our forests", but you don't care because it gets the message across! When you would rather spend your allowance on things for your animals, or donating it to an organization that saves animals, rather than using it to buy the latest fashion. ♥

Educating yourself!!!!! Using spurs & whips the right way! Not freaking out because your toooo uneducated to know the difference. Being adult about things that you do not agree with.

Well, i think it is someone, who is firm but also loving with there animal, someone who will be sad when the animal dies! some one that will give there horse a break from riding him. some one that will praasie and take well care of a horse

3. when you love your pets enough to know when to let go (when their quality of life is bad/not up to standards)

I don't believe this is a stupid question at all there are a lot of people that claim to be true animal lovers that aren't...

Standing up for a  creature that kids are/were harming or that is being neglected and making sure it is safe before leaving

Having a special bond with your pet like having it willingly follow you around or being able to look at it and know how it feels...

Adopting a pet rather than buying from a private breeder or puppy mill, that way you save two lives... The one you adopted and the one you made room for.

Doing everything you can to learn about animals: Reading, Watching Animal shows/movies, Volunteering at shelters, and everything else that has to do with animals.
